Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (can use leftover turkey) (make vegetarian/vegan by substituting Impossible beef – coupon)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 2 (8 ounce) cans Redpack® Tomato Sauce 8 oz (RedPack Coupon)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chili hot beans

Step 1) Brown ground beef (or your beef substitute), onion and green bell pepper in a large skillet. Transfer to colander and rinse with hot water to remove fat. Transfer meat mixture to large kettle and add salt, pepper, chili powder and cocoa; mix well.
Step 2) Add beans, 3 cans diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
Step 3) Garnish with shredded cheese

Cherry Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cake

(From 11/06/22 SmartSource, uses Lucky Leaf Cherry Fruit Filling and Musselman’s Unsweetened Apple Sauce)

Ingredients:

Step 1) Preheat oven to 350° F
Step 2) Combine dry cake mix, egg, apple sauce, and baking powder until well blended. Then, gently fold in the Cherry Fruit filling and chocolate chips. Pour evenly into a greased bundt pan or 9x13-inch cake pan.
Step 3) Back 35-45 minutes in bunt pan, 30-35 minutes in 9x13-inch cake pan. Cake should be golden brown. A toothpick inserted in center will come out clean.

Optional Icing: Combine 2 tablespoons warm water, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon almond extract, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Add 1 2/3 cups powdered sugar and mix well with an electric mixer until desired consistency. Drizzle icing over cooled cake.

No Bake Alfajores (Dulce de Leche Sandwich Cookies)

(From Goya website taken from 11.06.22 Save: https://www.goya.com/en/recipes/no-bake-alfajores )

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg Goya Maria Cookies (Goya Maria Cookies Coupon)
  • ½ cup Goya Dulce De Leche – Milk Caramel Spread
  • ½ cup toasted shredded coconut

Step 1) Arrange 12 cookies on a baking tray, bottom side up. Spoon 1 tsp Dulce de Leche onto cookies. Cap each round with another cookie. Spoon another 1 tsp Dulce de Leche onto that cookie and cap with a third cookie to create 1-layers. Gently press cookies together so filling spreads to edge of cookies. Place in freezer for 15 – 30 minutes or until caramel is stiff.
Step 2) Roll sides of cookie on coconut. Store in freezer until ready to enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. May your holidays be full of warmth, love, and savings. Thank you for your business!
